Where is Marty Rathbun? Why has the Church of Scientology attempted to delete his life's work from their computers? Marty Rathbun (aka Mark Rathbun) used to be one of the highest and most respected leaders involved in the Church of Scientology. He has been a member of the cult for over 25 years and was Inspector General of Religious Technology Center (RTC). RTC is the group that owns all the copyrights to Scientology, and therefore is in complete control of the CoS. Starting in September of 2005 and still continueing to this day -- the Church of Scientology began deleting the name Marty Rathbun from all their web pages. The Church does not admit anywhere on its servers that they had a Mr. Rathbun working for them for 20+ years. All the events he attended, all the good works he did in promoting the church, and all the other records of Marty's existence have been wiped from the Church of Scientology's servers.
